1983 – stepped into photography as Yılmaz Kaini’s assistant.
1985 – recieved the youth runner up award in the Yıldız University International Photography Awards.
1986 – graduated from the Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Photography department.
2000 – was selected for the “Merhaba Atina – Here Istanbul” project (curated by Engin Özendes) together with Ara Güler, İzzet Keribar, Arif Aşçı and Cem Turgay from Turkey.
2004 – his work was included into the collection established for the founding of the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art.
